Office and Department Leads

Daniel Brooks-Dowsett

Daniel is the director of our Bristol office, having joined Trident in 2015. He has extensive experience in all aspects of Building Surveying and Project Management, guiding his team in both the private and public sectors.

Danny McEvoy

Danny rejoined Trident in 2019 to run the Liverpool office, after a few years away. His work ranges from project management to dilapidations, whilst supporting his expanding team.

Stuart Algar

Stuart joined Trident in 2018 to support Trident's newest service, Rights of Light. From there, he has worked on many projects ranging in size, sector and complexity. He is now head of the Rights of Light department, which focuses on daylight, sunlight and overshadowing, as well as other Rights of Light services.

David Juniper

David instructs extensively on Project Management and Contract Administration work, including the refurbishing and remodelling within the office, retail, transport, medical and residential property sectors.

Darron Owen

Darron has over 25 years’ experience in the industry, and has been the Birmingham director since 2016. He is an expert on all aspects of consultancy advice, particularly in the project management and commercial property fields.

Freddie Millar

Our Dublin director Freddie specialises in Project Management as well as working on residential projects. He supports the team in Ireland in Project Monitoring, General Professional Advice and Assigned Certifier services.

Peter Fortune

Peter became director of the Edinburgh office in 2018, where he manages the daily workload within their team. Peter’s specialist skills include technical due diligence surveys, development monitoring, project management and dilapidations.

Scott Young

Based in our Glasgow office, our executive director Scott has over 25 years of experience in the business, covering a variety of instructions for clients in all sectors and industries.

Keith Richards

Keith specialises in providing project management and project monitoring services as well as pre-acquisition advice. Keith has wide ranging experience of commercial building surveying roles in public and private sectors.

Daniel Roe

Dan has experience in a wide range of building consultancy advice from working on commercial, industrial, retail and residential premises. His particular expertise is in the delivery of building contract work and due diligence surveys.

How we work:

  • Trident has a history of working with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, within their working groups and boards, as well as speaking at conferences and contributing to their best practice guidance notes.
  • We are members of the Association for Project ManagementAssociation for Project Safety, and more recently members of the Fire Protection Association.
  • As with all our work, we strive to maintain high standards internally, as proven by our ISO accreditations and Investors in People awards.


We are pledging more time to environmental and sustainable governance in both our internal systems as well as client work.

On top of maintaining our sustainability service, we are ISO certified, a member of the UK Green Building Council and have Carbon Neutral status.
