We are delighted to announce that building surveyor Cameron McMaster has moved back north after spending nearly three years in our London City team.
Cameron has joined the expanding Leeds office at a really exciting time for the team, with the next few months promising even more change.
“I’m from a small village in the north-west and studied at Sheffield Hallam but I was always keen to experience working life in the ‘big smoke’. My partner and I furthered our personal development whilst down in London, where I obtained MRICS status with support from my London City colleagues in December 2019 – the big smoke had not disappointed. Then Covid hit. Life as we knew it changed. My partner and I decided to relocate back up north to be closer to family and friends. I reached out and Trident was more than welcoming of an inhouse move.”
The Trident Leeds office had offered me an opportunity for further personal development and career progression – a key benefit of working for Trident. From London I bring a range of building surveying experience, fire-related (cladding and fire stopping) surveying in particular. I hope that with this skillset, I can make a positive contribution to the Leeds team and our existing client base.”
Cameron has worked on many high profile projects, including a series of fire safety inspections across the south of the country.
