We’re putting the kettle on and making some hot chocolate to warm up, which must mean we’re on the countdown to the holidays! This festive period we’re asking our offices to look back at 2022 and celebrate the highlights, as well as let us know what they’re looking forward to in 2023.
Next up, is our London office, led by David Juniper.

Daksha and the team provided project management, contract administration and CDM principal designer services on this project for CBRE Investment Management. The building has been totally transformed, incorporating increased energy efficiency installations and occupier wellbeing considerations, with the unit being used to set the standard to refurbish all other units on the estate too.
Sam worked on this project in Norfolk, providing project management and employers agent services. The building was destroyed by a fire in 2020 and works included organising the demolition of the existing building and rebuilding of the replacement as well as coordinated the appointment of the design team, planning consent, design and tender, selection of the winning contractor and construction phase. The building is now complete to shell and core level and is currently being fitted out by others.
Campbells Meadow Retail Park
Sam has been busy, as he also worked on this project where we provided project management and employers agent services. The project has a c.£1.3m project value, with the project being delivered on time and under budget while the retail park was still in occupation with minimal disruption to trading. Watch the video below to see the end results.

Our London office is also where our Rights of Light team, Stuart Algar and Paul Johnson are based. The team have had another busy year and are looking forward to 2023 to continue working with their existing clients, building new relationships, and developing a new service offering which will launch next year.
We asked Stuart and Paul to let us know their highlight project from 2022, but they had a hard time narrowing it down, here’s a couple out of many projects they could have chosen:
27-35 Mortimer Street
The team delivered rights of light, daylight & sunlight, BREEAM; envelope development and risk mitigation services on this B1 office project. Works included a roof extension, external alterations, and creation of roof terrace.

The team took clients to Toplands Jewish Care Lunch, in which 900 people attended to raise funds to support Jewish care’s services.
The team attended a variety of networking events, far too many for us to mention but it was great to see everyone in the office getting involved.
HR and IT
As always, it’s been another busy year for our HR team, who have implemented a range of new policies and procedures. Not only have they attended a mental health awareness course, but Kelsey has also completed her CIPD Level 3 Foundation in People Practice.
Kelsey is also part of our IT team and this year’s focus has been on improving our internal procedures for data management, arranging training for everyone in the company and providing excellent support whenever someone has a problem.
“It’s a really great time to be taking on the role of office lead, we are looking to grow our team next year as well as move office. We also have some other exciting announcements in the pipeline that will be announced next year, keep an eye on our social media feeds.
For me personally, I’d like to say thank you to our clients for their continued support and I look forward to another year of working together.
