The team have had another busy year and are looking forward to 2023 to continue working with their existing clients, building new relationships, and developing a new service offering which will launch next year.

We asked Stuart and Paul to let us know their highlight project from 2022, but they had a hard time narrowing it down, here’s a couple out of many projects they could have chosen:

27-35 Mortimer Street

The team delivered rights of light, daylight & sunlight, BREEAM; envelope development and risk mitigation services on this B1 office project. Works included a roof extension, external alterations, and creation of roof terrace.

Events

The London office has really got stuck into all our LandAid events this year, starting with Owen who spent July on his bike, raking up the miles for Tour de LandAid. Dan, Daksha, Rhiannon and Callum  all took part in Steptober, Trying to get the highest step count they could whilst on site.

One of the team’s highlights was the Sleepout at Printworks, in which Dan, Callum and Stuart spent the night outside to raise money to end youth homelessness.

Grosvenor Dragon Boat Regatta

Daksha, Sam Hinkes, Sam Parsons, Pedro, Callum, Jack Skinner and Jack Sumpter, joined by Melissa and Pritesh from our Birmingham office took part in Grosvenor’s annual Dragon Boat Regatta to raise funds for Groundworks London, a charity that helps improve the lives of those struggling across the city of London.

The team took clients to Toplands Jewish Care Lunch, in which 900 people attended to raise funds to support Jewish care’s services.

Networking

The team attended a variety of networking events, far too many for us to mention but it was great to see everyone in the office getting involved.

HR and IT

As always, it’s been another busy year for our HR team, who have implemented a range of new policies and procedures. Not only have they attended a mental health awareness course, but Kelsey has also completed her CIPD Level 3 Foundation in People Practice.

Kelsey is also part of our IT team and this year’s focus has been on improving our internal procedures for data management, arranging training for everyone in the company and providing excellent support whenever someone has a problem.

“It’s a really great time to be taking on the role of office lead, we are looking to grow our team next year as well as move office. We also have some other exciting announcements in the pipeline that will be announced next year, keep an eye on our social media feeds.

For me personally, I’d like to say thank you to our clients for their continued support and I look forward to another year of working together.
