Trident are thrilled that seventeen of our staff are taking part in four of LandAid’s SleepOut locations on March 10th in order to raise money for youth homelessness. The money raised from the Leeds sleepout will go towards supporting the WomenCenter in Calderdale.
Taking part in Leeds is Jamie Clark, Christian Watkins, Cameron McMaster and Hannah Tottie.
Jamie Clark
Jamie is an Associate Director in our Leeds office, and made sure to spur on as many people as possible to take part in Leeds.
“It was my turn to lead the team meeting, and as it was on the agenda, I couldn’t ask people to take time out of their day to do it if I wasn’t going to do it myself!”
Christian Watkins
Christian is a senior building surveyor and is not looking forward to leaving behind his home comforts and dog Darcy for a night in the cold.
“Whilst I know the work LandAid do is really crucial, I’m not the biggest fan of the cold, but with marketing sitting in our office, they really encouraged us all to get involved. I’m sure it will be and interesting night for a great cause, I will be packing my thermals”
Cameron McMaster
Cameron joined our Leeds team last year, after spending almost three years in our London office. He hopes the sleepout will give him an opportunity to spend some time with his new colleagues.
“As I’m relatively new to the Leeds team, this will be a great way to get to know some of my colleagues better whilst raising money for a great cause. I look forward to better understanding the difficult situation that young homeless people find themselves in”
Hannah Tottie
Hannah is one of the newest members of Team Trident, joining our Marketing team late last year, and was eager to sign up to take part.
“Because I work in marketing, I’ve learnt a lot about LandAid and the work they do from previous events we have got involved with. I knew that when the opportunity to get involved came up, I’d volunteer and support LandAid myself, as the work they do makes a real difference”
