Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Headquarters

Trident was instructed by RICS to carry out a 5 year Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) survey at their Headquarters in London. The purpose of the survey was to allow the client to budget and prioritise expenditure over the next 5 years.

Trident’s team of 5 carried out the survey using data capture software on a room by room basis. The whole building was surveyed and where possible the roof was surveyed where access was available and from accessible vantage points.

All of this data was automatically captured through the software, saving the client time and money. The mechanical and electrical (M&E) services were surveyed by a specialist mechanical and electrical consultant employed direct by Trident.

Trident used the existing Building Information Model and exported room lists and areas to formulate the asset template. The fabric and M&E condition information was captured in line with NRM3 elemental data to produce a 5 year PPM schedule and summary report.
