Trident Building Consultancy – a leading national surveying and project management practice with eight offices across England and Scotland – has strengthened its leadership team with three key appointments.
The Employee-Owned business has promoted David Juniper to the new role of Head of Innovation and Alexandra Price replaces Darron Owen as Head of Marketing and Communications.
Daksha Mistry has been promoted to Head of People and Culture, replacing Dan Brooks-Dowsett who is stepping down from the leadership team.
The move brings Trident’s leadership team to seven, which along with the new recruits includes Dan Roe, Head of Business Performance; Darron Owen, who moves into the new role of Head of Operations; Owen Pottle, Head of Technology; and Louise Logan, Head of Finance and Resources.
The shift is designed to bring a greater diversity of skills and experience to the leadership team by increasing the representation of non-surveyors.
Dan Roe, Managing Director of Trident Building Consultancy, welcomed David, Alexandra and Daksha to the team, and congratulated them on their promotions.
He said their appointments underline the business’s core focus of innovation and ensuring it remains at the forefront of the construction industry.
Dan said: “We have been an Employee-Owned business for around two-and-a-half years now, and over that time we’ve had chance to look at how the business operates under the new structure and identify any gaps we had in the business as a whole, but also on the leadership team.
“We’re always keen to promote internally where we can because our culture is built on rewarding people who excel, exemplify our values, and contribute positively to the business.
“David, Alexandra and Daksha do this on a daily basis, and it is due to this and the contributions of many other people within Trident that the EO journey has been such a success for us.
“With a greater diversity of skills now represented on the leadership team, I’m confident that success will continue to flourish.”
With EO Day approaching (June 20), Dan added businesses wanting to foster a more inclusive environment for their people, as well as incentivising them to reach their potential, should consider the EO route.
Each year, the Employee Ownership Association runs its EO Smile campaign to celebrate employee-owned businesses, showcasing the breadth of companies adopting the EO model.
Dan added: “Understandably, there are always concerns when embarking on a journey like EO. But for us, it has been a huge success.
“We have found our people feel more valued and engaged, and that has had hugely positive impacts on our culture and on business performance.
“After two-and-a-half years, we’re still on a learning curve, but it remains a very exciting journey and one that has brought the entire business much closer.”
