We are delighted to announce that Trident has been awarded gold status by Investors in People. The globally recognised accreditation demonstrates our commitment to our community as we believe that the success of Trident begins and ends with our people.


Achieving gold is a massive achievement, out of 50,215 companies assessed across the globe, only 23% are accredited gold status. We’ve asked our newly appointed HR Director, Daniel Brooks-Dowsett, about achieving gold status.

“Team Trident is what makes us so successful, and our recent gold accreditation by Investors in People is a significant achievement, demonstrating our continued commitment to our people, especially as we embark on our journey as an Employee Ownership Trust.

I’m proud to share some of the feedback we were given:

  • Trust the leadership, and value the ‘open door’ approach as well as the approachability of the leaders.

There is always room to improve, and we will use the recommendations from Investors in People to continue to make Trident an even better place to work, and to aspire, to one day achieve platinum accreditation. For example, our recent partnership with BAME in property will help improve our EDI polices and action plan to create a more inclusive environment for all and to help us attract and retain the widest possible talent pool.

A lot of effort went into the work that gained us the gold accreditation,  I’d like to thank everyone involved and those around the business who continue to develop Trident into a fantastic workplace.

However, special thanks must go to Trevor Dowd, who I recently succeeded as HR Director, Nicola Edwards (our HR manager) and Kelsey Joyce (our HR administrator). It is their hard work over recent years that set the groundwork that sealed us gold status – Thank you all!”
