BSF and CSS Funding Support

Government funding is available to support remediation of unsafe cladding and associated fire safety defects on mid- and high-rise residential buildings where significant external wall fire risks have been identified.

It is delivered through the Building Safety Fund (BSF) and Cladding Safety Scheme (CSS), which can take some navigation. Funding processes may be complex and time-consuming, particularly challenging when projects are already focused on managing fire safety risks and delivering remediation works.

Our Funding Support service provides clear, structured assistance throughout the remediation lifecycle, helping clients secure and manage funding with confidence, from the BSF and CSS funding applications, through project development, to final account close-out.

This service complements our fire safety surveying, risk assessment and remediation delivery services, ensuring that funding requirements are aligned with technical findings and project scope from the outset.

Our support begins with guidance on the funding application process, helping clients understand eligibility criteria, required evidence, and submission requirements. Where appropriate, we assist in securing Pre-Tender Support (PTS) funding, enabling projects to progress design development, investigations, and cost planning in advance of full remediation works.

As projects progress, we provide ongoing assistance in securing Full Works and Costs (FWC) funding, ensuring that applications are supported by robust technical information, cost data, and programme details. Clients are also supported if additional funding is required due to project variations, with the preparation and submission of variation requests, reflecting changes in scope or cost.

Throughout construction, we maintain oversight of funding requirements and reporting obligations, working closely with project teams to ensure alignment between delivered works and approved funding. Once the remediation works are completed, and final account stage is reached we help to close out funding claims accurately and efficiently.
