Steptober – Walking Together to End Youth Homelessness

Every year, 86’000 young people find themselves without a roof over their head in the UK. That’s why, this October, Team Trident are taking part in LandAid’s latest challenge – Steptober.

Steptober involves teams of four compete to take the most steps between 4th-18th of October, with all money raised going to LandAid, a charity with one aim – end youth homelessness.

When we think of ‘homelessness’ we automatically think of the most visible form – sleeping on the streets, and while this may be one of the most dangerous forms of homelessness, it is just the tip of the iceberg.

Homelessness refers to anyone who doesn’t have a private, secure, decent, and affordable place you can call home.

The money raised from Steptober, will help LandAid fund local organisations up and down the UK to provide immediate care and opportunities for those experiencing homelessness to thrive.

We are thrilled that twenty-eight members of Team Trident have volunteered to take part, creating seven Trident teams. While our main goal is to collectively raise as much money as possible to support LandAid, it is sure to be a great competition, not just against external teams, but against each other.

Below is the full list of our teams, with details on how to donate.
