Building Surveying, Project Management

2 Kingsway

Trident’s Bristol office undertook the initial technical due diligence at pre-acquisition stage on behalf of our client. The building was purchased with vacant possession with the intention of undertaking an extensive refurbishment.

Trident was subsequently appointed as the client’s lead consultant (Project Managers).  Trident assembled an extensive project/design team and successfully project managed the refurbishment from conception, through planning stage to practical completion.  The front façade of the building was extended to increase the lettable office floor space and also to create a full height glazed atrium to the main entrance area.  The completed works resulted in a significantly enhanced building located within the Centre of Cardiff, directly opposite Cardiff Castle.

The building has achieved a BREEAM “Very Good” Rating and was shortlisted for the BCO Awards (Refurbished, Recycled Workplace).
