Trident Building Consultancy was appointed on various High Risk Buildings (HRBs) to undertake fire door replacement and other passive fire safety measures in London Boroughs of Southwark, Knightsbridge, Hammersmith and Fulham.
Prior to Gateway application, during initial review of available information it became apparent that there were significant gaps in existing building information. Trident was instructed to coordinate various inspections and surveys, collating information in readiness for the Gateway 2 applications.
During the instructions Trident provided advice to Clients in respect of their responsibilities as a Dutyholder under the Building Safety Act 2022. As Building Regulations Principal Designer Trident ensured that all designers and consultants possessed the relevant competence to undertake their role. Trident reviewed design throughout each stage to ensure the project complied with the relevant statutory requirements. Trident managed the design process and recorded the Golden Thread of information for issue to the Responsible Person upon completion.
Trident were responsible for issuing Gateway 2 applications to the Building Safety Regulator, including liaison with the BSR during the application process.
