Trident’s Glasgow office was instructed to undertake design and contract administration services for partial demolition and creating of new external façade and external yard on behalf of In-Site Property Solutions.
The instructed works comprised disposing of large office section of building, whilst retaining rear industrial units, including safely structurally separating the buildings. Following completion of the demolition works a new profiled metal cladding. The former footprint of the building was subsequently resurfaced and new utility connections installed for an incoming tenant.
The works were complex in nature as the industrial unit had to be safely separated from the office building to allow the tenant to continue trading, which including the erection of a safety hoarding, with the demolition undertaken in a systemic fashion.
