Contract Administration

As contract administrators, our RICS chartered surveyors manage the contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance, effective execution and that all contractual obligations are met. 

Given the need for contract administration on the vast majority of projects, this service is a core part of our offering across the country. Our experience spans a multitude of sectors, on developments from new build to listed buildings, fully occupied offices and most property types in-between.

We have worked across the full suite of Joint Contracts Tribunal (JCT) group contracts, as well as with client-specific forms. When these are needed, we liaise with trusted legal advisors to add bespoke amendments into documentation.

Our service offers:

  • Creation and monitoring of; a client brief, budget and strategic project framework.
  • Assembly and coordination of a project team and designers.
  • Preparation of specifications and tender documentation, including advice, relating to specifics such as procurement, project phasing and cash flow.
  • Obtaining, reviewing and reporting on competitive tenders and contract award.
  • Providing technical and procedural advice.
  • Certification of payment, variations and project completion plus assessment of reasons for delays.
  • Ensuring that specifications are delivered within agreed budget and time parameters.
  • We can incorporate Building Regulations Principal Designer Services where applicable, ensuring compliance with Building Regulations.

Using intensive quality assurance (QA) systems to assess documentation and the competence of third parties, we ensure the quality of our service while limiting commercial risk.
